I truly feel like I am in a dream state tonight...
We are completely packed and ready to go. Tomorrow will be a VERY long day for us but it will land us in China! CHINA!!!!
Sophie is completely in awe of the idea that we will be on another continent tomorrow. We are beyond excited and as ready as can be. Next time you hear from us we will be a family of four!!!

So, Here's the deal...
Many of you know where we stand right now, but here is a short synopsis:
We are VERY busy trying to follow all the extremely detailed packing instructions, trying to adhere to all the weight and measurement restrictions for the baggage and TRYING to rest and take care of ourselves before our trip. We are scheduled to leave from JFK on May 8th...fly to Tokyo (13.5 hours), 2 hour layover, then onto Guangzhou, China (4.5 hour flight), which means we arrive at our hotel about midnight on May 9th (if all goes smoothly). The next day, May 10th, we will get Shae!!!!
We will try and post to this blog with photos once we have her in our arms. I have lots to do, so that is it for now, but stay tuned.........
